Main Agenda:
ND updated the meeting with the news that RJ had stepped down as Chair of the meeting.
All present expressed their thanks to RJ for his commitment and dedication to the meeting over many years
Updates from last meeting and review:
1) Drug dealing and usage around the Berecroft Estate – on Wednesday 16th May a search warrant was executed at two properties in Berecroft. Since that operation one person has been arrested on suspicion of intent to supply, and possession of,  class A drugs. Posters updating residents will be put up across the estate on Friday 25 May and a leaflet thanking the community for their support will be distributed on Thursday 31 May on behalf of South Anglia Housing and Harlow Neighbourhood Policing Team
2) Nuisance Youths at Staple Tye Shopping Centre – Patrols and stop checks on nuisance youths still continuing.
Any new issues from around Staple Tye:
• ZC announced that a football project will start on Berecroft play area on Monday evenings from 16:30-17:30 for children aged 6-16 years
• ZC raised concerns for the security of the play area from October onwards
• MAB all quiet since police action
• JS raised issue of nuisance youths around garages near to 182 The Briars
• JS alerted that a nuisance motorbike is being used by residents of 178 The Briars
• JS raised concerns about fund raising for the Jubilee celebration on the three hills
• AL no concerns currently
The priorities for the coming month:
1) Berecroft Estate
2) Nuisance youths in Staple Tye Shopping Centre
AB nominated John Strachan as Chair of the meeting and MB seconded. JS was duly appointed.  ZC agreed to be vice chair

Wednesday 27th June 2012. 7pm @ 65 Berecroft
