Free Healthworks Course


Healthworks is a project for young people, helping to improve young peoples Health and Well Being by providing opportunities to learn and take part in new activities and experiences!

Healthworks are recruiting young people that are aged 14 -19yrs old to gain a qualification during this October half term!

The aim of this qualification is to provide the learner with an understanding of how social and medical advances have led to improvement in public health. The learner will also be provided with an understanding of how, at an individual level, lifestyle choices and behaviours can have a positive and negative effect on health.

This is being offered for FREE! (Thanks to funding from Harlow Health Centre Trust)

From this course the young people taking part will benefit from: The Duke of Edinburgh volunteering Award, Letter of Commendations, Life Skills, Team Working, Confidence Building, skills for health, life and an Enhanced CV.
