Community Events & Activities – May 2018

Naturally Attuned – Roots to Wellbeing Day Wednesday 16 May from 11.30am – 3.30pm at Parndon Wood. Free for members of the public (donations if required to ECCO). Planned activities include Gong Bath, Yoga, Mindfulness, Breathing Techniques, Tai Chi, Nordic Walks and Drumming. Gibberd Garden – Art in the Garden event Friday 18 May from 10am – 4pm. An art tutor will be on hand to help lead you through the day, with the Garden, its sculpture and artefacts for inspiration.  Materials and equipment not provided. Advanced booking essential. Price:  £25 to include Coffee, Lunch and Tea


Three Valleys Male Voice Choir – The next concert will be at the Paringdon Sports & Social Centre, Harlow onSaturday 19 May at 7.30pm in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support Group. Tickets are £10.00 and are available from email: moorsie3@sky.com or 01279 902452, or at the door. Nibbles will be provided and the centre’s Licensed Bar will be open. Please see attached flyer.

The Great Get Together – Free family picnic/street party style event with open mic, entertainment and refreshments. If the Open Mic session is of interest please contact Kelly Tarling at Rainbow Services to book a performance slot kelly@rainbowservices.org.uk. This event will take place on Saturday 23 June from 11am – 3pm at the GPCA Abercrombie Way (flyer attached).
