Harlow is 70

Work has been taking place to look at what the Council will do to celebrate the Harlow’s 70th birthday next year. It was on the 25 March 1947 that Harlow was officially designated a new town, and we aim to use the occasion to promote Harlow, its places and its people, and to get the community together to celebrate this occasion.  This will also provide an opportunity to look forward to the town’s future.  Not only will 2017 be Harlow’s 70th birthday but it will also be Harlow Town Park’s 60th birthday so both of these milestones will be celebrated next year.
